The culture we live in!

What if we looked at the whole life time experience as an act, like you’re acting in a big film and you’re main guy. You don’t fight a villain here. Just do your act and have fun with it. Instead of getting bored and judging your boredom, have fun with it. Celebrate your life the way it is.

In Hollywood and TV industry they give Awards to people as a compliment for doing a good role in movie or show. Now think about it, what if you get award for living your life the way you want it. I’m a quite shy fellow, so I don’t open up so good with people. I like staying aloof and observing people. Observing their characters and their roles in their life and watching emotions come and go. So, I’m a good observer, I get a good observer award. So, you’re in the awards function and after some guy/gal announces my name and I stand up feeling proud about myself (Actually feeling Shy/Shi**y). I walk on the stage and accept the award and I go to the microphone and start to curse(Thanking) everyone and after giving the speech the music starts playing and I burst into tears and I start saying, “This one’s for you.

That’s the Sh*t right there. So, it’s not just me, we all live in a shitty culture that worships the celebs and actress and all the wannabes. The inner me (Self) doesn’t want any kinda fame or recognition and wealth. But the wannabe in me wants it, and he is very desperate to get it and a wannabe is a person who wants attention, and he screams and shouts and trolls till he gets it.

Living life is like looking in a mirror. What is reflected back to us, by way of other people, is the state of our being, our consciousness. If we are angry, we may think that person over there is pretty angry. If we’re full of doubt, then we may think that the other person is full of doubt. The big secret is that beyond the mirror is the land of Soul.

Alexander the great is going to see the famous Greek philosopher Diogenes. Diogenes asks Alexander,

“What are you doing?”

Alexander replies, “I’m going to conquer Greece.”

Diogenes asks, “And what are you going to do after that?”

Alexander tells him, “I’m going to conquer Asia Minor.”

“And then what are you going to do?” Diogenes asks.

“Then I’m going to conquer the world,” Alexander replies.

Again, Diogenes asks, “And after that what are you going to do?” “Then,” says Alexander, very pleased with himself, “I’m going to relax and enjoy my life.”

Diogenes looks at Alexander for a long time and then finally says, “You know, I can save you a lot of trouble. Why don’t you relax and enjoy it now?”

I’m being me

The Golden Words

I play many parts in my life. I can be a son, brother, friend, leader, assistant etc..

I also play different characters like i be a good boy in my classes, do all the homework and always punctual. While, i can be an average in home just helping my mom in her household chores. But i’m beyond all this characters and all the stuff that i do to impress my mom or my teacher, I play a major role of being me… me who is uniquely me. What if i be me(Myself) all the time?

There’s a wonderful story about a rabbi who dies and goes toheaven. He has led a devoted life, following as closely as he could inthe footsteps of the prophets and sages, and so, naturally, he expectsGod to greet him with praise. But when the rabbi arrives at thepearly gates, God just looks at him and says, “I made you uniquelyyou. Why did you spend your life trying to be someone else?”

There’s only one person who can give an answer to this question ,” What’s it like being me?”.  this blog helps me a lot. This blog helped me to explore a variety of approaches to help me connect with my true-self.

In a recent New York Times article, neuroscientist Bruce S. McEwen of Rockefeller University pointed out:

We’re now living in a world where our systems are not allowed a chance to rest, to go back to base line. They’re being driven by excess calories, by inadequate sleep, by lack of exercise, by smoking, by isolation, or frenzied competition.

Why is there so much rush to go anywhere? The people are walking going by a car on motorbike faster, faster and faster just achieve what? Success, Money, Fame. That’s it. The thing is that no one is going away from earth alive. We, have sometime to spend on planet earth. Then, why not make it count and make it more useful, utilize it for the best? why not slow down and enjoy the path of self-discovery?

“In the pursuit of learning, every day something is acquired, and in the pursuit of spirit, every day something is dropped.”

Let us all feel lighter and more freeer

“You are not your bank account, or your ambitiousness.
You’re not the cold clay lump with a big belly you leave
behind when you die.
You’re not your collection of walking personality disorders.
You are spirit, you are love.”

2012: The new year resolutions, The best year of my life!

SH!t Happens

Live With No Regrets!

So, it’s 13th Jan of 2012 and let me take you back to 31st December 2011 on new years Eve.

I stayed up on new years eve up to 3.30 and some guy who called himself Lady Gaga caused a ball to drop in New York city. Some people cheered, while some thought that it was just a waste of time and went back to sleep, some people made out and sticked their tongue down to each others throats and i saw it on the local news channel. But i was mainly interested in watching mallika sherawat performance and it did not happen. :(. I met my friends and we partied, ate some snacks clicked some snaps and went to sleep. but, then suddenly one thing happened, as soon as i woke up.

Nothing Happened… Everything was exactly same, same Fu*king thing! 😦

C’mon i was expecting something amazing or a miracle to happen! and why not? it’s 2012- The year of the MAYAN APOCALYPSE!

There should be something different this year. I don’t want my new year or the last year in my life go boring. So, let’s spice it up with my resolutions. I usually don’t believe in resolutions myself but, somehow i got a feeling to do something different this year. Something my family or my friends or people who stay close to me but not so close can remember about it.

In the newly fresh year I’ve been overtaken with ambition. No, i am not going to do any kinda social work and help the blind children because everybody does it and better than me. so here’s my resolution.

“I will try and make my world a better place and with it i will make a difference within the people among me.”

I didn’t tell anything about it to anyone. So i thought why not express my feelings the way i do the best, and that’s by writing and posting it.

But, there is also slight change in my resolutions. I plan to implement every word of my resolutions through my BLOG. HEHE!

For the first time in my life, i actually created a goal for myself. that is the sign of me growing up. Mostly would agree and some person would disagree this. but yeah, I can make this 2012 the best year of my entire life.

Do you have any kinda Resolutions that you would like to take this new year. Warning: This  year might bring the end of the world as you know it.

LIVE LIFE KING SIZE.

Setting up your Priorities

Can you make a difference?

A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2 inches in diameter.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “Yes.”

“Now,” said the professor, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things – your family, your partner, your health, your children – things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter – like your job, your house, your car.

The sand is everything else. The small stuff.”

“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued “there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party and fix the disposal.

Take care of the rocks first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

Always live your life the way you want it, but with no regrets.
